The story of the DS Drum brand begins in 1994-95. At that time there was no factory with machines that we have today. We bought shells and finished the final products. But we´ve always desired to do something special, innovative, something that will carry our brand from the begining till the end. So we started investing in equipment and machinery in 1998 and our company developed and grew very fast. Our intention was not to build a company with massive production and thats also the reason we don´t produce custom drums at the request for clients abroad. We want to keep production under control, keep quality at the highest level and monitor the production process in every single step. The production of drums at customer's request is like tailoring a suit. We focus on every detail according to drummer´s wishes with passion and love for the craft.

At the same time, we keep in mind that these drums are actually a working tool and are intended especially for professional drummers. However, because we love our work and our philosophy is to offer unique sound and quality to all who desire it, we are launching a new series of drums - the VENOM series and the DSX series. The VENOM series is intended primarily for those customers who require the same quality as custom drums, but no longer insist on a specific surface treatment, for example. This allows us to have drums in stock and offer the customer lower price and immediate purchase. The VENOM series is designed for all passionate drummers longing for a unique sound, robust design and balance of the DS Drum brand on their way to a dream. The DSX series is mainly for beginners and young drummers.
